Gay marriage will not be legalised in Russia.

This topic discusse the actuality in Russia about the point of view of Vladimir Putin of the gay marriage. He made the comments during a meeting with a Kremlin-appointed committee discussing new amendments to the Russian constitution and one of them it was "the marriage is a union between a man and a woman".

Vladimir Putin says as long as he is president in Russia gay marriage will not be legalised, insisting in a family there is a “mum and a dad”. So, what do you think about the point of view of the president of Russia? Do you are agree or disagree? Why? Do you legalised the gay marriage?

    For many years, this topic was taboo. Nowadays, the situation in that country is very similar. Lesbian, transgender, bisexual and gay people in Russia face legal and social challenges not experienced by non- LGBT persons. Although same-sexual activity between consenting adults in private was decriminalized in 1993, homosexuality is disapproved of by most Russians, and same sex-couples and households headed by same-sex couples are illegible for the legal protections available to opposite-sex couples.

    The other day, Putin talked about gay marriage. He explained his hate related to LGBT so he affirmed that this type of marriage wouldn't legalize. Besides, the president of Russia made it clear the family image he conceived: dad and mum. As we have seen, Russian policy is so restrictive. Despite being a leading power, it receives countless criticism for its extreme measures and its non-modern vision according to citizens. Putin has not only flawed gay marriage, he has also banned Jehovah's Witnesses from across the country. Although they are peaceful, they suffer repression daily. As a result, many of them are imprisoned and mistreated.
    Back to the topic, I normally disagree with Putin. I am guided by Biblical principles because of my Christianity. Therefore, I don't share the ideas of all these people. Nonetheless, I fully respect and tolerate them.
    All in all, I believe that although Putin doesn't agree with this issue, his aggressive and disrespectful way of acting isn't the correct one.

So the topic for this week will be related with the very famous singers, as Elton John, who have sometimes so many problems with their vocal conditions. We have to recognize they work with lots of pressure, due to they owe it to the public. The thing is, Elton was performing in Auckland when he literally lost his voice and had to excuse and leave the concert. It seems to be caused by pneumonia. The singer leveraged his social networks to give a consolation for all of his fans, after crying for his vocal disaster. He was very close and guilty, but he admitted that he had given everything to fulfil what he had promised. Coronavirus: How close are we to a global pandemic?

The topic that concerns us this week consists about a serious problem, which is worrying all citizens: coronavirus. An ongoing outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019, caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, started in December 2019. It was first identified in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei, China. The infection is primarily through human-to-human transmission, via respiratory droplets that people sneeze or cough.
